3. CITIZENSHIP IN THE WORLD: Every Inner Wheel member proudly wears a pin that says: "Inner Wheel", which is spread in 101 nations around the globe. Our organization is the second largest women’s organization in the world.

4. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: Inner Wheel is an organization of service minded and capable personalities. Learning how to motivate, influence and lead people from different walks of life becomes an asset.

5. FUN: Inner Wheel is fun, a lot of fun. Each meeting with friends is fun. The club projects motivate and inspire members. Social activities are fun and enriching. Service to our community is also fun.

6. CULTURAL ENBRICHMENT: Inner Wheel has conferences, conventions assemblies, and institutes, workshops, cultural a shows, major speakers that provide cultural enrichment in addition to lnner Wheel information, education and service.

7. CULTURAL AWARENESS: Around the world, practically every religion, country, culture, race, creed, political persuasion, language, color and ethnic identity is found in Inner Wheel. It is a cross section of the world's most prominent citizens from every background. Inner Wheel members become aware of other cultures and learn to live and work with people everywhere and develop friendships across borders.

8. PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS: Many an individual who joined Inner Wheel might not have been able to speak in public. Inner Wheel develops confidence and skills in public communication and opportunity.

9. PERSONAL FULFILMENT: in getting to know people from different backgrounds and widening our horizons. The joy of giving of one’s self is amply provided in our activities.

10. THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE: Inner Wheel is a service club. It provides great opportunities and varieties in the field of service to the community.

History:

Yesterday

Inner Wheel began on the 10 January 1924 when Mrs Margarette Golding presided over a club formed of Rotarian wives.
The roots from which International Inner Wheel has grown were established in 1934 when the Association of Inner Wheel
Clubs in Great Britain & Ireland was formed.
It was realised that unity is strength and members had the wisdom and foresight to form Clubs, later establishing Districts
and then an Association.
In 1967 International Inner Wheel was formed which gave an opportunity for qualified members in any country to serve as
Officers e.g. President.

Today

International Inner Wheel links together members in different parts of the world including Europe, Asia, Africa, Australasia
& the America`s.
International Inner Wheel is available in approximately 101 geographical locations with 103,000 members.
