Welcome address from National Representative

Nelly El Bahtimy/Helmy

Friendship

-       Friendship is a ship that never ever sinks.

-       Real friendship grows across the miles despite the distance between us.

-       We should be open to a friend's view, listen and try to understand, as two people can look at the same thing and see something different.

-       We should not judge our friends but respect their way of life even if we disagree with it.

-       Friends sometimes hurt us unintentionally, but we should forget and forgive.

-       I learned that you should treat a friend kindly today, for the people we love the most are often taken away from us too soon.

-       Friendship is a candle that lights our way, and though it flickers against the winds of time, distance, and change, its beauty endures and shines forever in our hearts.

-       A Friend Is Priceless …. A Friend Is a Treasure...

-       Your smile Is Your Best Friend … Make It Some One Else's Too.

Non-governmental Voluntary social work is a must for the
flourishing and advancement of society.

Jordan remains a pillar of stability in one of the world′s most volatile regions, while it            continues to make commendable achievements in its development process.

As an advocate and believer in human-centered, sustainable development, I am firmly committed to trying to promote the role of women, young people, and local communities ــ all of whom have an essential role to play in shaping our world and our future.

Our Inner Wheel which is known for its pioneering initiatives, is taking another major step to conform with the requirements of the information age and adapt to the spirit of the times by establishing and maintaining its internet website.

This important initiative will open widely the doors towards continuous interaction between the Inner Wheel family worldwide and will enhance on-going dialogues between Inner Wheel regions.  This exchange is bound to result in positive effects on the vitality and the activities of the Inner Wheel.

I congratulate our Inner Wheel family for this great achievement.  I hope that this initiative will be an effective element in the advancement of this humanitarian organization and will strengthen its primary role in deepening the links of understanding and friendship between its members and clubs.  This technological initiative will reinforce its benevolence endeavors in the service of our local communities.

I take this opportune occasion to greet the members and the Goverving Body of Inner Wheel wishing everyone good health and prosperity.

Basma Bint Talal of Jordan
